Adopt-a-Family

Coordinator: Meg Aument

The Adopt-a-Family program aids families in crisis - those struggling with illness, homelessness, domestic violence, poverty or unemployment.

Your contributions are needed by Sunday, Dececmber 2nd to allow time to purchase gift certificates. Our goal is $120/child for shoes, toys, clothing and groceries.

Friendship House Transitional Housing

The Traditional Housing program, run by Friendship House, aids women who have just completed drug or alcohol recovery or completed a prison term and have no place to go. For those of you who would like to purchase gifts, we will be collecting new scarves, hats, gloves and socks for gift bags to be given to residents of this program. Take an individual Tree Ornament specifying a particular needed item (from the tree in the narthex), purchase the item and then place the purchased item in the box marked Adopt-a-Family in Founder's Halll by Sunday, December 2nd.
