Costa Rica Mission Trip - March 13-22, 2019

Are you interested in world mission, adventure and going out of your comfort zone? Red Clay’s mission in Costa Rica could be just the thing for you. CEDCAS is a Christian health ministry serving the poor in urban and rural Costa Rica. CEDCAS brings badly needed medical support and offers a helping hand to several communities. CEDCAS directs mission teams from churches such as Red Clay to help fund needed projects, work side by side with community members, and develop caring relationships.

This trip we will return south to Biolley, a beautiful rural area bordering the mountains of La Amistad International Park, 6 hours south of San Jose. We will be painting, doing light maintenance and pouring a cement sidewalk near the Eco Lodge that was in the process of being rebuilt after a fire when we were there in 2014. We will be joining up with another team from First Baptist Church in Stockton, CA. The lodge helps support the women of ASOMOBI that own and manage a microenterprise coffee project.

The total cost of the trip will be between $1,675 & $1,775. This includes $875 for accommodations, food, misc. and ground transportation. Plane tickets and airport transportation range from $800- $900.  Those interested can do fundraising to help offset these costs. We also hope to raise additional funds to support the project.
