Looking back on the THANKSgiving meal for our local mission partners...

On Sunday, November 28th fifty-eight staff members from eight different mission partner organizations joined together in fellowship with Red Clay families. The night was about thanking them for their work in the community which provides so much to those in need, along with providing us with opportunities to give back as well. If you have ever worked with Meeting Ground, Habitat for Humanity, Urban Promise, Love, Inc., The Food Bank of Delaware, Friendship House, Wayfarer's House, or Quilts for Comfort you know these are opportunities to share God's love and make a difference in many lives.

The night featured a Thanksgiving meal that was cooperatively provided by members of Red Clay. It also spotlighted testimonies from our youth who have served in the community. Through written testimonies by our Senior High Sunday School, and spoken testimonies of those who were there to help, the youth were able to express what it means to them to make a difference in their community.

This was a very special night, and one that I hope will become a Red Clay tradition for years.
