* Included under Support expenses is about $502,00 for personnel and about $29,000 for per capita payments to Presbytery.

The total budget for 2010 is $1,001,316. It is balanced (net income = net expenses). The income beyond the $243,007 shown above includes $630,594 from pledges, $106,715 in other donations, and $21,000 from interest, rent, and lease.

Many contributions that are a significant part of Red Clay's ministry and outreach are not included in the church budget, for example

  • the value of volunteer hours and the cost of their travel
  • donations of time and food and materials
  • Capital Campaign donations and expenses
  • construction loan interest
  • goodwill, discounts, and material donations of local merchants
While the Cemetery Corporation serves a major function of the church it is required by Delaware law to be a separate corporate entity and thus is not included in the above budget.

While Red Clay is the sponsor and provides meeting space for several Scouting groups whose activities benefit the whole local community, they are managed and accounted for as separate organizations.
