Ash Wednesday Service
- March 1, 2017
- Time: 7:00pm – 8:00pm
- Coordinator: RCCPC Office
Usually at Red Clay, we're funny, light-hearted and full of life! Yet, often Ash Wednesday is known as a more serious event--dark even. True, this service is a time to notice grief, to visually mark our foreheads with a symbol of death. But, even through ashes and crosses, we find our light!? Do we not? Because of this cross and the dust upon us, we are full of life!
As we go home from this service with smudges of grief on our heads, let our altered reflection in the mirror remind us that we are blessed by the dust.
Join us on Wednesday, March 1st for a contemplative service that will help lead us into Lent.
