Regardless of where we are along a political, ideological, or theological spectrum, it’s pretty clear that we live in a time when partisanship rules, divides are deep, and compromise is rarely possible. How is it then that we in the church learn how to address deeper issues and needs that drive conflict while at the same time holding on to a moral center?
Join us for a 2 part discussion at 7 pm on June 28 and 29 of the concepts and ideas in the book, When the Center Does Not Hold: Leading in an Age of Polarization by David R. Brubaker. It’s available on Amazon (click here). We will meet virtually and each session will last no more than 1½ hour. It is helpful, but not required to read the book ahead of time. We do ask, however, that you sign up if you wish to participate in the discussion group. Please click here to be redirected to our sign-up page.
