Communion is shared at all services on the first Sunday of each month.

Sept 02 (Monday) Craft Group No meeting today. Regular meetings resume on Sept 9th.

More TV sets and DVD players are still needed for Sunday School.
Monetary or actual equipment donations are needed to replace 3 TV’s (at least 27-inch screens) and 7 DVD players and remotes in time for our Sept. 7th Sunday School opening. Please contact Barb Vanderkraats at vopera39@aol.com to make donations or to tell us about discounts we might get on these items.

Each week the group will consider one of the major moral issues that confront Christians today. What guidance can we get from scripture on topics such as:
      -- Medical Progress and Longer Life Spans
      -- Climate Change
      -- Prisons and Prisoners
      -- Moral Standards in a Diverse Society

Sept 20 (Saturday)
7:00 PM Founders Hall -- Let's Go Out to a (free) Movie provided by the Adult Ed Committee -- along with child care. This it the first in a series of movies with messages for Christians today. Popcorn and other snacks will be available. A short discussion period will follow the movie.
Amazing Grace [a first-run movie starring Albert Finney and Joan Gruffudd; Rated PG10] is the story of William Wilberforce, an English politician who struggled for the abolition of slavery against powerful opposition.

Sept 21 (Sunday):
8:30 and 10:00 AM [previously-posted time was wrong]: The Rev. Dr. J. Patrick Vaughn will lead us in worship today for the first time as our new Senior Pastor and Head of Staff.
