As you know, Delaware is called the First State because it was the first to ratify the U.S. Constitution, setting an example for the nation. It’s also known as the Small Wonder, a state small in size but with a significant impact, from its rich history to its contributions in business and beloved beaches. Delaware is often called The Diamond State—Thomas Jefferson is said to have given it that name because he considered it a jewel among states. And, more locally, Delaware is proudly referred to as The 302, after the area code that covers our entire state.
This year, Red Clay celebrates 302 years of faith, community, and service here in Delaware—our own 302. Like our state, our church family has quietly but consistently achieved great things. In 2024, we made significant strides in community outreach, supported both local and global mission efforts, and continued to foster the faith and well-being of everyone who calls Red Clay home.
