Asheville Service Trip
In July of 2023, Red Clay took it's first trip to the Asheville, NC area to work with Black Mountain Home and we returned in 2024. Begun in 1904 as Mountain Orphanage, Black Mountain Homes began its ministry taking in children whose parents had died or disappeared. Today, BMH serves youth from birth through college graduation and beyond through family foster care, residential care, transitional living, and independent living. If you would like to learn more BMH, you can find their website here.
Throughout our week in Asheville, we aid BMH in essential projects throughout their campus that help them provide the best possible care to their children. In addition, we will be working with other local organizations addressing needs in their community. Our annual Asheville trip is paused for 2025. Stay tuned for more info on our 2025 summer service trip.
